General terms and conditions
Restart Apartments reserves the right to request a security deposit upon arrival at the apartment of min. 100 EUR. The amount of deposit can be increased due to group bookings and the number of people staying in the apartment.
The security deposit is a financial guarantee to cover additional damage to the apartment or parts of the residence where the apartment is located, if the apartment has been left in a state of increased clutter, excessive electricity draw, or company policy violations such as night-time disturbance or smoking in apartment, balcony or patio terrace. Restart Apartments will also retain a security deposit in the case of the stay of additional unauthorized persons. The security deposit retained on the payment card will reduce the disposable balance and will be released after an inspection of the apartment. The process of releasing the deposit takes 3-5 business days, depending on the type of bank.
If the bank holds the deposit or is not allowed to hold the deposit, it is possible to receive a security deposit of EUR 100 in cash. However, this alternative involves organizing a personal check-in of the apartment by our staff at a predetermined hour on the day of check-out.
If the apartment has been damaged during the guest’s stay or the Restart Apartments terms has been violated, the security deposit will not be refunded or will be reduced by the amount necessary to compensate for the damage caused. If the damage to the apartment exceeds the value of the security deposit, this amount will be invoiced directly to the guest and payable in full with respect to the due date. The security deposit will also be used as a financial compensation for additional cleaning if the apartment has been left in a state of increased clutter/pollution, as well as if the guests violates the latest check-out time.
2. Cancellation and change of reservation
If the reservation is canceled or in case of no-show, the cancellation fee is 100% of the first night’s price.
Please note that changing the booking dates is subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Despite the maximum effort of the Restart Apartments team to process and confirm reservations, the company reserves the right to relocate guests to an apartment of the same type and standard in special cases
such as receiving multiple reservations for the same apartment at the same time (overbooking). In exceptional cases Restart Apartments has to ask guests to cancel the reservation. In this case, the full amount is refunded from the price the guest has already paid for the accommodation at Restart Apartments.
3. Time of check-in and check-out
Guests must respect the times specified by Restart Apartments for check-in and check-out. Unless confirmed otherwise, the apartments are normally ready for check in from 14:00 on the day of arrival. If you need to guarantee early check-in (before 14:00), you must book your apartment one night earlier. Unless otherwise agreed, all apartments must be left and keys handed over by 11:00 on the day of departure. After the agreement and the additional payment in advance, the apartment can be left at 15:00 at the latest, during the late check-out service. The next night will be charged when leaving the apartment after 15:00.
If you wish to arrive at the apartment on the day of arrival after 20:00, it is necessary aquire agreement with the Restart Apartments member. Even after confirmation, the check-in is possible until 22:00, if Restart Apartments has a sufficient number of staff who can arrange the operation. On arrival, guests receive key cards from the apartment and from the front door of the building, which they have to return in the manner specified by the delegate on departure day. Lost or not returned keys will be fined EUR 100 for the replacement of locks and the production of several sets of new keys.
4. Equipment and service included in the price of accommodation
All apartments are fully furnished and equipped with the necessary electrical appliances and kitchenware. Meals and drinks (mini bar) are not included in the apartment. Only basic toiletries are provided free of charge to guests for their stay.
No items may be removed or discarded from the apartment. The room rate includes bed linen, towels, TV and internet services. Please make sure that all electrical appliances are turned off when not in use. Guests are encouraged to save electricity by turning off the TV and switching off the lights after leaving the apartment.
5.Loss of guest property
Restart Apartments is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings of guests or for injuries of guests or members of their group while staying in the apartment to the extent that they are not directly responsible for injury, loss or damage to Restart Apartments. Vehicles are parked on the Restart Apartments at their own risk. Restart Apartments do not provide insurance in such cases. Therefore, we recommend that guests arrange travel insurance in advance to guarantee them financial compensation in the event of loss or damage to property.
6. Stay at Restart Apartments
All apartments at Restart Apartments are strictly non-smoking. Smoking is not allowed in any part of the apartment, including balcony areas. Restart Apartments precisely supervises silent hours from 22:00 to 06:00 and does not allow guests to use the apartments for celebrating or bachelor’s partys. Restart Apartments are limited to personal, lawful and reasonable use.
Guest eviction right
Restart Apartments reserves the right to terminate the guest’s stay without any refund claim in the event of a company policy violation during the stay or if the company has received a serious guest complaint. Likewise, Restart Apartments reserves the right not to accommodate the guest if they are under the influence of alcohol or drugs or threaten or offend their surroundings upon arrival.
The maximum occupancy of the apartment must not be exceeded. Restart Apartments are not allowed to accommodate any additional guests without authorization. Children up to the age of 6 can stay free of charge if they share existing and prepared beds with the family. A baby cot with linen and towels is available on request at a surcharge of 5 Eur / night. If the capacity of the apartment allows it, it is possible to accommodate an extra person for a surcharge of 15 Eur / night.
Pets are not allowed without prior consultation and confirmation by Restart Apartments team members. If guests are allowed to stay with pets, please make sure that all vaccines and associated medical procedures are up to date. It is not allowed to place pets on furniture or beds, nor is it allowed to leave them without supervision in the interior of the apartment. It is important to leave the apartment in its original condition before leaving the apartment, without any indication that the pet has been accommodated in the apartment.
Right to enter the apartment
Restart Apartments reserves the right to enter the apartment within a reasonable time and reason. These include the implementation of unforeseen and necessary axles (in the interior or exterior of the apartment), regular interior revisions or exterior remodeling, which require access to the apartment.
